Location: SLC-40, Cape Canaveral SFS, Florida, USA

Launch Time:  6:00 PM EDT

Mission Type: Communications – Starlink broadband constellation deployment

Mission Overview & Payload Insight

The Starlink Group 6-110 mission will deploy another batch of Starlink V2-mini satellites into low Earth orbit, continuing the rapid expansion of SpaceX’s second-generation global broadband network.

These satellites are engineered to improve overall network performance and resiliency as the constellation grows toward higher density and global capacity. Typical payload features include:

  • High-throughput phased-array antennas for dynamic beam steering

  • Electric propulsion (Hall-effect thrusters) for orbit raising and long-term station-keeping

  • Enhanced collision avoidance and autonomous maneuvering capability

  • Potential Direct-to-Cell capability, enabling future satellite-to-mobile connectivity in areas without terrestrial infrastructure

After stage separation, the Falcon 9 first stage is expected to attempt recovery on an Autonomous Spaceport Drone Ship (ASDS) in the Atlantic Ocean, continuing SpaceX’s high-cadence reusable launch operations.
