Mission Overview
This mission marks another key deployment in Amazon Leo’s mega-constellation of low Earth orbit satellites, designed to deliver high-speed broadband internet worldwide — including to underserved regions. According to Amazon, LA-04 will carry approximately 27 satellites, bringing their total launched so far closer to 180 craft.
The Atlas V 551 configuration provides robust lift capability for this LEO mission. Its rocket fairing, boosters, and upper stage are optimized for the large satellite batch launch.
