Mission Overview

ViaSat-3 F2 is part of the ViaSat-3 global satellite constellation: three ultra-high-capacity Ka-band satellites each capable of delivering over 1 Tbps of bandwidth. This mission will significantly expand ViaSat’s network, providing enhanced connectivity for consumer, aviation, maritime, and government services. 

ViaSat notes the F2 satellite will more than double the capacity of its existing fleet once in service. 

 Visitor & Viewing Tips

  • Best Locations to Watch: Jetty Park, Playalinda Beach, Titusville waterfront, Cocoa Beach Pier — all great vantage points along the Space Coast.

  • Arrive Early: GEO-mission launches often occur in the evening or late night — scope local schedule updates and plan ahead.

  • What to Bring: Camera (for long exposure options), binoculars, water, sunscreen (or light jacket if late day), folding chair.

  • Livestream Option: ULA will likely provide a live webcast—check ULA’s official launch page for link when posted.
