Payload & Mission Highlights

  • ViaSat-3 F2 is the second satellite in Viasat’s ultra-high-capacity ViaSat-3 series, designed to more than double Viasat’s global bandwidth capacity

  • Built on Boeing’s 702MP+ platform, it features dynamic beam-forming payloads for global coverage, with focus on the Americas and EMEA regions. 

  • The launch has been “scheduled for the second half of October 2025” according to Viasat and ULA public filings.

  • Best viewing locations: Jetty Park, Playalinda Beach, Titusville riverfront and other east-facing vantage spots on Florida’s Space Coast.

  • Plan to arrive early: Launches to GEO/GTO often occur in early evening or late afternoon—anticipate parking and traffic delays.

  • Bring: Camera, binoculars, sunscreen, water, folding chair for comfort.
