SPAINSAT New Generation II (also known as SpainSat NG II) is the second of two new-generation secure communications satellites built by Airbus for Hisdesat. Designed to support the Spanish government, its military, and allied or partnered international organizations, it provides robust, secure communications services from geostationary orbit. 

The satellite uses Airbus’s Eurostar Neo platform, with advanced payloads operating in X-band, Ka-band, and UHF frequencies. It offers enhanced flexibility, interference resistance, and signal geolocation capabilities—vital for military and governmental communication needs.
