Mission Overview:
United Launch Alliance (ULA) will launch the second mission (KA-02) of Amazon’s Project Kuiper, a global broadband initiative managed by Kuiper Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon. The mission will continue deployment of Amazon's LEO satellite constellation, aimed at delivering high-speed, low-latency internet to communities worldwide.

Constellation Details:

  • Planned total: 3,236 satellites

  • Distributed across 98 orbital planes

  • Altitudes: 590 km, 610 km, and 630 km

  • Supports both commercial and underserved markets

Mission Objectives:

  • Expand satellite broadband coverage

  • Enable future mobile, enterprise, and government connectivity

  • Provide scalable, flexible internet service from space
