Come visit the newly renovated Sands Space History Center, celebrating its grand reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 17. Located just outside the South Gate to Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, the Center has received a fresh coat of paint, upgraded lighting, and updated exhibits—offering a stunning refresh to this important piece of Florida’s space heritage.

What to Expect:

  • Explore upgraded exhibits featuring launch vehicle history, space artifacts, and complex timelines

  • Free admission — no base access or security credentials required
