Mission Overview:
SpaceX will launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a mixed batch of Starlink V2-mini satellites, including units equipped for Direct to Cell connectivity. This flight continues the buildout of the Starlink mega-constellation, SpaceX’s ambitious project to provide global, space-based broadband internet access.
The second-generation V2-mini satellites offer higher throughput and improved coverage, while the Direct to Cell units are designed to enable connectivity for mobile devices in areas without terrestrial cell service.
