Amazon’s Project Kuiper will launch its first satellites aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket, marking the beginning of a global broadband initiative. Managed by Kuiper Systems LLC, this low Earth orbit (LEO) constellation will eventually consist of 3,236 satellites across 98 orbital planes at altitudes of 590 km, 610 km, and 630 km. The mission aims to deliver fast, reliable internet access worldwide, with a focus on unserved and underserved communities.
